We will discuss things to think about before you start a painting (emotional connection and positive attitude), things to think about during the painting process (value, form & atmosphere) and ways to add drama with your brushstrokes.
We will also spend one day working on how to add the figure into your paintings in a natural way.
The workshop will take place mostly inside the studio but we will discuss plein air painting and the materials and techniques used and will plan to paint outside one day weather permitting.
Three Day Workshop - $225
Class limited to 10 students.
Coffee and bagels included each morning.
Bring your own easel to class, if you do not have one please let me know.
